Smoky, Tirolean Seasoned Aromatic Deli Slices
Speck is a cured ham which originated in Tyrol, an historical alpine region in Austria that partly belongs to Italy. Traditionally both salt cured and smoked, it has a distinctively peppery flavour with strong notes of juniper berry and spices. One of our all time childhood favourites in Italy, we just had to add it to our speciality Mheats. These smoky deli slices are one of our proudest creations. We've spiced our Späck with whole crushed juniper berries and a mix of other spices to bring our culinary heritage back to life, re-dimensioned in vegan terms, sliced thin and brushed in extra virgin olive oil.
Each pack contains six slices, each one seasoned individually with freshly ground red, green and black peppercorns.
